Matthew 25 Meeting, September 27
All those interested in discussing outreach projects and organizations (local, national, or worldwide) that Trinity Parish might support, please join us next Sunday at a meeting of Matthew 25. Feast of St. Michael & All Angels, Tuesday, Sept. 29
All are invited to attend the Charles River Deanery celebration of the Feast of Saint Michael and All Angels here at Trinity Parish on Tuesday, September 29. Clergy and singers from other Episcopal parishes will join us for Holy Eucharist at7:00pm, following the Deanery supper and meeting, which begins at 5:30pm and at which all are welcome.
Blessing of the Animals, Oct. 4
On the first Sunday following the Feast of St. Francis (October 4), Trinity Parish traditionally holds a Blessing of the Animals. Do you have one that you would like to take part in this rite? Bring him or her next week! The Blessing will take place outside following the 10:00 Liturgy at 11:45am on the front lawn near the Chapel entrance. Please have pets leashed or crated.
Installation of New Rector, Grace Newton, Oct. 21
On Wednesday, October 21, 7:00pm, the vestry and congregation of Grace Episcopal Church in Newton request the honor of your presence at a celebration of new ministry and installation of the Very Reverend Tammy Hobbs Miracky as their 16th rector by the Rt. Rev. Julia E. Whitworth, Bishop of Massachusetts. Reception will follow. Clergy are invited to vest and process with red stoles. Grace Episcopal Church is located in Newton Corner, 76 Eldredge Street, Newton, MA 0245. RSVP here to attend.
Centre St. Food Pantry Wish List
Located at 11 Homer Street in Newton Centre on the lower level of Trinity Church, the Pantry is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a member of the Greater Boston Food Bank. It is open most Tuesdays from 2:30–5:30pm and the third Saturday of each month from 11:30am–2pm.
New households are asked to fill out the Online Pantry Registration Form or print and fill out this paper form. If you live in Newton and wish to be added to the CSFP delivery list, send an E-mail with your name, phone number, city, and family size. If you live in Boston, click here to find resources available for those in need of food.
For Your Prayers
Remember Sean, our Presiding Bishop, and Julia, Ian,and Mary, our Bishops, and all who minister in your Church. Remember All Saints Anglican Church, Winterton, Kwazulu-Natal; and the Khethani Christian Fellowship in Khethani Township, KwaZulu-Natal. Remember Ukraine, Palestine, Myanmar, Sudan, Ethiopia, Yemen, Haiti, Iran, and all places in which there is war, that they may find peace. Remember James, Robert,and Chunjian, that they may know your healing and comfort. Remember Julia, Isabella, and Andrew, recently baptized. Remember the Trinity House community. Remember the Trinity Parish Choir Academy, the Trinity Parish Sunday School, our teachers, and our young people. Remember all who have died in the peace of Christ, especially Carolyn Walker; bring them into the place of eternal joy and light.
