November 13, 2022

Sunday School

This week's lesson covers the Prophets: “Prophets are people who come so close to God and God comes so close to them that they know what God wants. After Jerusalem was destroyed, God began to send messages of hope to His people through His prophet Ezekiel.”

I wonder how the prophets felt in their relationships with God?
I wonder how the prophets prayed to God?
I wonder who brings you messages of hope in your life?

Advent Wreath Making Workshop November 20

Come, and make an Advent wreath for use in your home!  This brief workshop following the Sunday liturgy November 20 is open to all ages. Candles and all materials provided (although if from a previous year you have the wreath frame, please bring it).

Matthew 25 Discussion November 27

Come and join a discussion of ways that we at Trinity can help others. Matthew 25 is the outreach committee of Trinity, and its focus is to learn more about the needs in our community and the world, and discover ways that Trinity can help. Recommendations of these ideas are given to the Vestry. In the past, funds have been given to the Centre St. Food Pantry, two refugee families, The Fridge in Newton, and other projects. We will meet in the Sullivan Room following the service on November 27.

Trinity Parish Continues to Follow 'Mask Friendly' Protocols

The Trinity Parish Vestry voted to go "mask friendly" effective immediately; that is, masks are optional at Trinity Parish as of April 14. Please note that, pending further guidance from the Diocese and local infection rates, we may in future return to requiring face coverings when we gather in person.

Pledging During a Pandemic

Thank you to all who continue to send in your pledge! Your faithfulness in keeping up your pledge helps Trinity Parish stay “in the black” during this time, and we are grateful. Pledges may be mailed to Trinity Parish at 11 Homer St., Newton Centre, MA 02459.
