As we celebrate Mother's Day, we will reflect on the story of Mary: "She was truly the Mother of God. People still feel close to Mary. They name churches after her and make pilgrimages to places where she seems especially close."
I wonder if you pray to Mary?
I wonder how you feel connected with the Holy Family?
I wonder how you celebrate your mother and your special relationship?
The Trinity Parish Vestry has voted to go "mask friendly" effective immediately; that is, masks will be optional at Trinity Parish beginning on April 14, including during the "The Great Three Days" — the liturgy of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and The Great Vigil of Easter. Please note that, pending further guidance from the Diocese and local infection rates, we may in future return to requiring face coverings when we gather in person.
Come and join us for a series of five, one-hour study sessions of five different passages from St. Matthew's Gospel, one passage for each of the Sundays in May. Sessions begin at 11:30 in the chapel and will be facilitated by members of Trinity Parish's "Small Group Group."
Thank you to all who continue to send in your pledge! Your faithfulness in keeping up your pledge helps Trinity Parish stay “in the black” during this time, and we are grateful. Pledges may be mailed to Trinity Parish at 11 Homer St., Newton Centre, MA 02459.
Located at 11 Homer Street in Newton Centre on the lower level of Trinity Church, the Pantry is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a member of the Greater Boston Food Bank. It is open most Tuesdays from 2:30–6pm and the first Saturday of each month from 11:30am–2pm.
New households are asked to fill out the Online Pantry Registration Form or print and fill out this paper form. If you live in Newton or Brighton and wish to be added to the CSFP delivery list, send an E-mail with your name, phone number, city, and family size.
