This Sunday we will reflect on the story of Jesus and the Twelve: "When Jesus went to Jerusalem for the last time, he went with the Twelve. They were His special friends. Today we call them apostles. They met in an upstairs room for their last meal together. It was when Jesus told them He would always be with them - and us - when we share the holy Bread and Wine."
I wonder how the apostles felt knowing they were Jesus' special friends?
I wonder who your special friends are? How do they provide you comfort and make you feel better when you are feeling sad, alone, and frustrated?
I wonder how you feel Jesus' connection with you?
The Trinity Parish Vestry has voted to go "mask friendly" effective immediately; that is, masks will be optional at Trinity Parish beginning on April 14, including during the "The Great Three Days" — the liturgy of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and The Great Vigil of Easter. Please note that, pending further guidance from the Diocese and local infection rates, we may in future return to requiring face coverings when we gather in person.
Come and join us for a series of five, one-hour study sessions of five different passages from St. Matthew's Gospel, one passage for each of the Sundays in May. Sessions begin at 11:30 in the chapel and will be facilitated by members of Trinity Parish's "Small Group Group."
Thank you to all who continue to send in your pledge! Your faithfulness in keeping up your pledge helps Trinity Parish stay “in the black” during this time, and we are grateful. Pledges may be mailed to Trinity Parish at 11 Homer St., Newton Centre, MA 02459.
