Trinity Parish Continues to Follow 'Mask Friendly' Protocols

The Trinity Parish Vestry voted to go "mask friendly" effective immediately; that is, masks are optional at Trinity Parish as of April 14. Please note that, pending further guidance from the Diocese and local infection rates, we may in future return to requiring face coverings when we gather in person.

Pledging During a Pandemic

Thank you to all who continue to send in your pledge! Your faithfulness in keeping up your pledge helps Trinity Parish stay “in the black” during this time, and we are grateful. Pledges may be mailed to Trinity Parish at 11 Homer St., Newton Centre, MA 02459.

CSFP Fall Fundraiser: Ride for Food

The Ride for Food is a fun annual event organized by Three Squares New England, that raises critically needed funds for organizations fighting food insecurity across Eastern Massachusetts. The Centre Street Food Pantry has been participating in the Ride for Food for seven years, and it's become one of our largest annual fundraisers. While it’s called the Ride for Food, there are actually three ways to participate. On Sunday, October 2, there will be 25- and 50-mile bike rides, starting and finishing at Noble and Greenough School in Dedham. In parallel, there will be a 5K Walk through Nobles’ beautiful campus. Finally, the “off the beaten path” option allows you to choose your own adventure (hike, swim, kayak, yoga or walk your dog, etc.) any time through October 2. Register here.

October 2nd will be a fun and jam-packed day! A DJ will kick off the fun, along with plenty of coffee and breakfast foods to fuel the riders and walkers. The party really kicks in after the walk and rides, with live music, barbecue food from the Fresh Food Generation food truck, and top-notch craft beers from Wormtown Brewery. Plus, plenty of time to socialize with CSFP teammates and people from other food security organizations.

CSFP is hoping to line up 40 Team CSFP members and raise $35,000! All proceeds benefit our food pantry and help to put food on the tables of our neighbors in need. We are asking each Team CSFP member to raise at least $350 for the event (don’t worry, we will support your fundraising efforts with suggestions, tips and encouragement)! If you are unable to participate in this year’s Ride for Food, please consider supporting our team or one of our participants! You can donate here.

If you have any questions about the Ride for Food, please contact Team CSFP’s captain, Taylor Lies (
