“Who Is Jesus?” An Exploration in St. Mark's Gospel

Beginning after the liturgy on Sunday, March 6, and continuing throughout the Lenten season, Trinity will host a six-week study of the Gospel of Mark. We invite you to join us! Each session, sixty minutes in length, will explore through a series of questions a different passage in St. Mark’s Gospel as we try to discover, “Who is Jesus?” We will meet in the chapel beginning at 11:30.

A Weekly Volunteer Opportunity

The Blackstone School Library in Boston’s South End is now open again to students! The library is not supported by the Boston Public Schools, as funding for many Boston school libraries was radically cut years ago. The Blackstone School library is run by amazing volunteers, and over the last decade a good collection of books has been established, and good connections have been made with the teachers and students. The library outreach is part of St. Stephen’s Youth Programs. Trinity Parish has supported the library for several years.

The Blackstone Library is currently open Monday–Wednesday (9am–3pm) and 18 classes are now coming to the library for story time, browsing, and borrowing books. If you enjoy sharing stories and books with children, you will find that it is very enjoyable to work with the students. If you are interested, please email Liz Steinhauser or talk with Daryl Mark.

Pledging During a Pandemic

Thank you to all who continue to send in your pledge! Your faithfulness in keeping up your pledge helps Trinity Parish stay “in the black” during this time, and we are grateful. Pledges may be mailed to Trinity Parish at 11 Homer St., Newton Centre, MA 02459.

Centre St. Food Pantry Wish List

Located at 11 Homer Street in Newton Centre on the lower level of Trinity Church, the Pantry is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a member of the Greater Boston Food Bank.  It is open most Tuesdays from 2:30–6pm and the first Saturday of each month from 11:30am–2pm.
