God keeps searching

As in the past, God searches for allies.  He continues to search for men and women who are capable of belief, capable of creating history, capable of feeling part of his people enough to work with the creativity of the Holy Spirit.  God travels through our neighborhoods and along our roads.  He peers into every corner in search of hearts that are willing to listen to his invitation, to make his Word become flesh—here and now.  Paraphrasing Saint Ambroeus, we could say that God continues to seek hearts that are similar to Mary’s: willing to believe, even in the most extraordinary circumstances.
