Turn Your Clocks Back!

As a reminder, this Sunday is the day we fall back one hour. Please remember to turn your clocks back to be on time for service Sunday morning (or maybe be early).

Sunday School

Children are invited to attend Trinity Parish’s Sunday School program beginning at 9:45am. The Sunday School classroom is on the lower level in Room 1, directly across from the stairs. Please proceed down a side aisle to the front of the sanctuary, go through the door, follow the hallway to the right, and descend the stairs. We meet in Room 1, which is directly across from the bottom of the stairs. If you would prefer someone to show you, please ask an usher.

This week's Sunday School teachers will be David Beidler and Martha Hadeler. This week's lesson is The Ark and the Temple: "All of the people had to help build the temple.  As the temple began to grow, the people were amazed.  There was a great hall for people to come close to God, and an inner room, called the Holy of Holies, which was for the ark.  The High Priest entered only on the Day of Atonement, the holiest day of the year." I wonder, where is your "temple?"  I wonder, what do you do to help build your temple?  I wonder, what is it like to meet God in your temple?

Scripture Reflection Group, Nov. 26, Dec. 10

This Sunday, in order to help prepare some of our parents for the Baptism of their child in January, we continue with the four-week series of scripture reflection on passages that were used to prepare catechumens for Baptism in the early Church.  We will reflect on the passage and then ask, "What might we do to best support N. in their life in Christ?" (See BCP, p 303.)

November 26:  John 9:1-49
December 10:  John 11:1-45

Sessions will close with prayer for the parents and their child.

New Parish Initiative: Lending a Hand

We invite you to take part in a new initiative that we are establishing at Trinity. Using the online service Lotsa Helping Hands, we are organizing a group of volunteers who are willing to help fellow parishioners based on needs that arise. Go here for more information.

Trinity Parish Continues to Follow 'Mask Friendly' Protocols

The parish vestry voted in 2022 to go "mask friendly"; that is, unless otherwise indicated, masks are optional at Trinity Parish. Please note that, pending further guidance from the Diocese and local infection rates, the church may in future return to requiring face coverings for in-person gatherings.
