Sunday School session with leaders and children

Sundays 9:45 am

Children are cherished members of the Trinity Parish community, and Trinity is committed to providing mentorship and opportunities to help our young people develop and make progress on their journey. Trinity's weekly Sunday School begins at preschool and is adapted from the “Godly Play” curriculum to fit the community of children who attend. Through parables, sacred stories, and liturgical action, stories provide the content for children to become more fully aware of the mystery of God's presence in their lives.

Stories end with questions that evoke wonder about the people of God, about where the stories connect with our lives, and about the ways we gather and mark important moments in our lives. Each week the story is followed by “work time” (play, really), using art supplies, journals, pictures that draw connections to world events, and other materials for reflection. During this time, children make meaning of the stories as they connect to their own questions or their own lives.
