Philadelphia Eleven Screening

25 February, 2:00 pm at the Coolidge Corner Theatre

All Saints Parish and the Charles River Deanery are hosting a screening of the documentary The Philadelphia Eleven, at the Coolidge Corner Theater in Brookline. The film chronicles the struggle that took place fifty years ago in the Episcopal Church to allow women to be ordained as priests. A discussion with one of the filmmakers will follow the screening. For more information visit the All Saints Web site.

The 2024 Bishops’ Annual Appeal: Sunday, March 10

We are reminded throughout Scripture that God has formed an everlasting covenant with us. This covenant is an invitation to enter into relationship with God and to act together in harmony with one another and all the earth. As we launch the 2024 Bishops’ Annual Appeal, we invite you to join us in deepening covenants we have formed as the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts.

Our diocesan mission strategy is a covenant to become ever more faithful and generous disciples of Jesus. With your support, the Bishops’ Annual Appeal promotes this goal through lifelong Christian formation, youth and young adult ministries, racial justice and creation care initiatives, as well as multicultural and immigration outreach.

The appeal newsletter and donation envelope are available at church or by contacting the parish office. Please place your gift in the Offering on “Ingathering Sunday,” March 10th. You may also mail it back directly to the diocesan office. Together, we are able to accomplish that which we cannot do alone!

New Parish Initiative: Lending a Hand

We invite you to take part in a new initiative that we are establishing at Trinity. Using the online service Lotsa Helping Hands, we are organizing a group of volunteers who are willing to help fellow parishioners based on needs that arise. Go here for more information.

Trinity Parish Continues to Follow 'Mask Friendly' Protocols

The parish vestry voted in 2022 to go "mask friendly"; that is, unless otherwise indicated, masks are optional at Trinity Parish. Please note that, pending further guidance from the Diocese and local infection rates, the church may in future return to requiring face coverings for in-person gatherings.

Centre St. Food Pantry Wish List

Located at 11 Homer Street in Newton Centre on the lower level of Trinity Church, the Pantry is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a member of the Greater Boston Food Bank.  It is open most Tuesdays from 2:30–5:30pm and the third Saturday of each month from 11:30am–2pm.
