The Catechumenate

Key to Trinity's ability to guide people on their spiritual journey is the catechumenate (cat-eh-KYU-men-it) process. Developed in the early centuries of the Church to prepare candidates for Baptism, the catechumenate process is also used to help those seeking to explore and / or deepen their Christian faith. The ancient Greek name is a rich word that means a combination of "to pour" and "echo," or "to whisper into the ear." We at Trinity have found the catechumenate to be a safe place to ask questions, to uncover the ways in which God is already active in our lives, to explore the scriptures and to get to know fellow seekers. Those who have been through the process have found it a life-changing experience. To learn more about Trinity's catechumenate process, click here.
