Our
Youth Education
Our
preschool and elementary school students hear lessons from
both the Old Testament and the New Testament with an emphasis
on seasonal material, using the Episcopal curriculum. Teachings
on Christian life and worship and church sacraments are
enhanced by age-appropriate activities, such as crafts and
music. For these younger students, the highlight of the
year is the annual Christmas pageant led and assisted by
our teenagers.
Our
middle school students attend a confirmation class that
combines Bible study with discussions about liturgy, spiritual
development, and Christian outreach. These students participate
actively in church life, including outreach activities.
In addition, the teens in the confirmation class meet for
further instruction after each service.
Detailed information about Sunday School classes, new staff,
and changes in routine will be mailed directly to parents.
Copies are also available at church. Below is a brief summary
of our Christian Education offerings for young people.
