Our Congregation

We worship Jesus Christ as Lord in a beautiful church that is graced with wonderful music and inspired sermons. Inclusion, diversity, openness, authenticity, and service define who we are and pervade everything we do as a parish.

Trinity Parish is a congregation brought together by our belief in the faith and values of the Episcopal Church. Our worship together is nurtured by friendship and our celebration is strengthened by shared tasks and widespread participation in the life of our church.

Our families and individuals range from infants to grandparents, and include long time residents, newcomers, and children who grew up, moved away, and moved back. Parishioners are from Newton and surrounding towns, as well as students from overseas, and represent the diverse population of Newton and of the worldwide Anglican Communion.

Congregation Involvement

Parishioners, both new and long-standing, strengthen our church by coming together in worship and by volunteering their services. Parishioners are encouraged and actively share in many church and fellowship activities, including serving on organizational committees, choir, teaching, Altar Guild, outreach and numerous charities, counting offerings, holiday events, workshops, pot luck dinners, as well as seasonal outings like the annual summer picnic and autumn apple picking!
