Our
Church
Trinity
Parish is located on the northern side of the intersection
of Center Street and Homer Street, just before downtown
Newton Center. On street parking is available on Homer
Street, on the next block of Center Street just before
Bow Street, and on Furber Lane behind the church.
The
main entrances to the church are on Center Street and
Homer Street, with a ramp entry on Center Street. After
the Sunday Service there is a coffee hour in the Dunbar
room of the old parish hall, which has ramp access from
the church. The church offices are also in the old parish
hall, at 11 Homer Street, and are open from 8 AM-12 Noon,
Monday to Thursday.
Trinity
Parish of Newton Center is part of the Diocese of Massachusetts,
the largest Episcopal Diocese in the United States. Our
Diocesan Bishop is the Right Rev. M. Thomas Shaw, SSJE,
who is assisted by the Right Rev. Roy F. (Bud) Cederholm
Jr., and by the Right Rev. Gayle Elizabeth Harris. The Diocese
is divided into twelve deaneries, and Trinity Parish is
one of fifteen parishes in the Charles River Deanery.
